Many of the recipes I share are purely for my wife’s benefit. Amy LOVES a cheese danish and I love mixed berries so this is actually a blend of our favorites.
My mom wasn’t one of those moms who cooked with puff pastry frequently, buy Amy’s mom is AND I am for sure going to be a puff pastry mom. Let me just say that you can wrap this stuff around pretty much anything and it will turn out delicious.
Impress everyone at your Easter or Mother’s day brunch with this insanely simple recipe. I promise people will think this is a fabulous bakery pastry, but you were able to throw it together in less than an hour.
This danish is perfect for those berries that are just okay because more sweetness and flavor comes out as they are baked. It is important for the sheet of puff pastry and the cream cheese to be at room temperature before you start cooking.
