One of the main requests I got from readers on Instagram was for recipes with extra veggies that don’t necessarily taste like veggies. This pesto is the PERFECT thing for that.
Use green peas and arugula — both in season right now, to make a creamy and delicious pesto sauce. The bright vibrant green is SO inviting and you won’t even realize that you’re packing some extra healthy greens right into the meal.
You can use this sauce any way that you would use a typical basil pesto BUT my favorite way is to make a chicken pasta salad with pesto and sun dried tomatoes.
